I’m a PhD Candidate at the University of New South Wales in Sydney, Australia. I recently submitted my thesis entitled 'Becoming Resilient: Disaster Recovery in Post-Yolanda Philippines through Women's Eyes' which critically investigates Build Back Better reconstruction from a feminist standpoint. As a feminist researcher, I specialise in Critical Development Studies with a particular focus on the intersections of gender, environment, and disasters.
