Reden Recio
I currently work as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Informal Urbanism (InfUr) Research Hub of the Faculty of Architecture, Building and Planning. Before joining the University of Melbourne in 2018, I worked with academic institutions, development NGOs, social movements, and private consulting groups in the Philippines. My research interests include urban informal livelihoods, social inclusion, urban planning and governance issues in global South cities. I’m currently working on a project that seeks to understand the spatial logic of informal street vending in three Asian metropolises.
